So when are people going to start coming up with new mod name mash-ups? Matamynapintex? Mavajessex?
Oh, heavens no!!!! I used a mashup not too long ago, and a very, um, "helpful" and overly interested MeFite took it upon himself to MeMail me to explain that doing that pisses some people off, him included, and that in his experience most people who did that "turned out to be assholes." He wanted to make sure I "got the memo." Yep, those are quotes.
That was so helpful. I love it when people are so interested in what others do that they take it upon themselves to point out such things.
My response? I politely replied that in a community this large, lots of things will piss people off, but I appreciated his interest in my posting habits. Then I put him on my block list.
OK, end rant, but I think any combination of the four names is going to look like something you shouldn't take while you are pregnant.

Thanks all! I had told Matt I was moving to Europe and he had asked me if I could help by checking on mefi during the US midnight hours.

I can't argue with that. If it helps, I'm American born but spent my early formative years in Mexico. Spanish is my first language. I also speak French, Italian and Portuguese. I'm a UK permanent resident now. The UK is my new home - I'm not here temporarily. My wife is Portuguese and also speaks many languages, is currently studying Russian, and writes English better than me. I have an American passport and am in the process of getting both a Portugal passport (via my wife) and a Mexico passport (via my parents).
I do agree that if there is another mod, we need someone from the Asia/Australia region.

Besides vacapinta's pleasant demeanor and ultimate reasonableness, this language thing will really expand our current modlanguage proficiencies. Currently we only speak English, Geek (with Spaz and Nerd patois), Hippie, Ubbi Dubbi, Pig Latin and Romanian.

I had the privilege of meeting each and every mod at the Portland 8 meetup. Let me tell you, vacapinta is witty and urbane and awesome in every way. He is a perfect fit for the "Midnight Mod" position. In my mind, he would sound like DJ Venus Flytrap on WKRP In Cinncinnati, with a silky-smooth delivery.
