The divabats are multiplying in my favorites!
maybe divabat is an amoeba. or an amoebat. or an amoebadiva. or something.

When I had a divabat infestation, I got rid of my extra booze, coke, and pills, and then checked all around the exterior of the dressing room for holes--divabats can squeeze into really small spaces. They use sonar, so it also helps if you refrain from rehearsing your stridently mediocre ballads and hackjob romantic comedy scripts at night for a while.

After removing the duplicates (if Metafilter uses MySQL?)
A unique constraint on the favorite table will solve this:
create table foo; insert into foo select distinct * from favorite; SET FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS=0; truncate table favorite; insert into favorite select * from foo; SET FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS=1
A unique constraint on the favorite table will solve this:
alter table favorite add constraint ufavorite unique constraint (user_id, comment_id, subdomain);posted by orthogonality at 5:56 PM on August 15, 2007
Metafilter uses (I think) Microsoft SQL Server.

Then turning off foreign keys is a bit more difficult, bit we don't need to explicitly create table foo; the alter table remains the same.

I heard that when you cut a divabat in half, two new divabats form from the tail and head ends.

But what if I'm more concerned with getting a broad into my new home? Will these keys help? Will they stop the spreading divabats?
