Bloop, Beep, Doooo

I seem to remember an AskMe post regarding the bell-like, bubble-ish synth noises that Radiohead (and others) coax from their machinery, and how to replicate them, but i cant find the post using my limited google/AskMe-fu. Anyone remember this and can point me in the general direction?

Don't remember the MeFi post off the top of my head, but I used to be a pretty Radiohead-centric elelctronics gearhead. I might be able to scrounge something up if you let me know which song you're thinking of.

im really looking for those pingy, almost no attack, round bell-like sounds. think kid-a (the track) or most of yorke's "eraser." im working with Reason, if that helps.
