Denver MeFites are the best MeFites of all Denver Meetup Photos, and clearly a fun and attractive bunch... yet... Denver MeFites are the worstest MeFites of all non-titling MeFites not titling Denver Meetup Photos.

Sorry we missed it!
Me too. I was looking forward to it for weeks and then I completely forgot about it that night. I was disappointed to discover the reminder in my email the next day. Next time.

Labels, please. It's not that hard. There were only, what, 6, 7 of you?

I commented a bit to try to explain things. As you can tell, however, an already foolish inability to remember people's names was exacerbated by alcohol. Apologies to all that I mixed up.

Ha ha! That's exactly my problem, koeselitz. The worst is when some person I vaguely recognize approaches me in a bar, addresses me by name, and starts shooting the shit and all I can manage to give back is a lame "Hey! Good to see you! What's up, man?". Sometimes during the course of the exchange, the name will come to me, and so upon parting I'll go "Yeah, well, you take it easy now ... Joe!" and it's so obvious I just remembered the dude's name because I suck and am just trying pathetically to save some face, but still, I do it everytime.

Nice looking group. Almost too nice... Every mefi get together makes me neurotic; I feel like I'd be the only shlubby dude in a t-shirt there, so I never go.

I added more comments about who's who, although I didn't meet the standard that koeselitz set for creativity...

dammit boo_radley, you'd better show up next time!
TPS... um, how shall i say this: the snark isn't very encouraging, honestly. we're doing the best we can. keep in mind this is only the 2nd time we've all met, and we don't know each other that well. it's not like the big metro meetups where folks have known each other for several years and get together once every few weeks or so. Denver's all new to the MeFi meetup thing. that plus there's been a holiday in the midst of it all. i'll take responsibility for this one since i was the one who wrote down a list of handles. i just emailed it to fieldtrip.

Yes, I believe that there were 13 of us give or take. And, you see the problems that I had with making this post--the internets are not easy for us mountain folk.

Thanks for the titles and captions, mountain folk! Obviously, the couch was the disputed territory, and for good reason. If I ever go to a Denver meetup, I'm sneaking in early and claiming the comfy couch for me and my heirs.
Any shots of the shoutout? It looked intriguingly complex, and possibly antique.

taz - that shoutout parchment is an old pizza box pulled out of my recycling and stuffed in my messenger bag as I ran out the door. If you look real close you can see cheese chunks and grease stains! It doubled as our "MeFi" sign.

Who's lovely handwriting is that?
(And YAY, my first shoutout!)
It's kind of eerie that the person who wrote out my username has a similar handwriting style to my own.
