My iBook displays the first character of this post as a box. I recently used DeLocalizer -- did I delete something important?

Me too, FF2 on XP. Differing unicode setups from platform to platform, probably.

I tried to get the box out of there using the admin interface and couldn't. I don't know what that is.

It's a DEL (delete) character. Jessamyn, your browser textbox probably doesn't know how to handle DEL -- but I bet if you copied the text part to the clipboard, did a "select all" and "delete" in the textbox, then pasted the clipboard, it'd be gone.

That's a lot of work, mendel. I just close my left eye and turn my head to the right when reading that question.

That's great, that totally worked.
