I'd like to start a MetaTalk thread next week where everyone can list their tracks for their mixes. I thought it would be a cool idea to for everyone involved to see what everyone else did. Anyone interested in that idea? I didn't want to do it now because part of what I like about the swap is the surprise of seeing what's on each disc as they come in and I don't want to ruin that for people.

And to stick to the topic, mine were mailed last week (swapset homophony). I received two so far: one from misteraitch and one from a user who did not identify him/herself.

I sent mine yesterday. I've received 3 (in Swapset Forte). This was the second batch I'd cooked up as I lost the first set of CDs on a bus (along with $50 worth of library books... stupid stupid stupid... 20 years I've had library cards, so I guess it was about time I lost some books).

Huh, didn't even know about the forums.

Yeah, it's not exactly been a hive of activity. I think this might be related to the fact that it's only linked once from the 'Swapset' page and not mentioned anywhere else on the site.

The last time I participated, though, a few years back, it was the main place for discussing mixes and posting sent/received notices. I assumed the intention was for the same to be true this time.

Also, someone had "Puddle Splashers" by Cap'n Jazz on their mix. It deflated my precious belief that I was the only person that knew of the existence/awesomeness of that song.

Some day, I'll use this as a launching point to tell the story of the time the band I was in opened for another Tim Kinsella band.

That was me. I'm a Kinsella fan... what can I say? Swapset Forte. I've received four. Just waiting on Kattullus, but now that's totally understood. Sorry you lost your stuff!

I sent mine out on the deadline, the 21st, and it appears that people have received it already. I haven't had any time to listen to the mixes yet, but I'm really exciiiiited.

What I forgot to include is that I almost put Letters And Packages by American Football on there too, but opted not to. I figured perhaps someone would think the Kinsellas were paying me for some obscure kind of promotion.

Anyway. Cap'n Jazz was great. And that's their best song.

Yeah I got it but unfortunately it was so covered in Gowanus slop that I couldn't play it. It's ok though cuz me and the whale scored an 8 ball and some Ukrainian whores and tore shit up. I think he may have had a bad reaction though..he told me he'd call and I haven't heard anything.

Yeah, I sent mine out awhile ago and couldn't figure out how to post a notice thing in the forum thing. I was just going to send an email but then I was detached from the interweb (and the world in general) for some time since then, and totally forgot. So everybody in intermezzo should've received mine by now.

And I got three yesterday, which I think is everybody who's sent them so far.

I listend to the Please Enjoy set yesterday and it's quite good. The Angel themed one from Swapset Baroque is also great and those are the only two I've gotten so far.
