Pork stamp - NOT March 5, 2007 11:22 AM   Subscribe

Mea Culpa. Remember my sweet-and-sour pork stamp post? Well, as it turns out, it's not true. Oh, there is a stamp (cute design), and it is popular, but it's not scratch-and-sniff, or tasty (see comment #7). Sorry gang. P. S. Not a "bug", but that's the closest Category that came to mind... P. P. S. I had a friend of mine ask her relatives to send her a sheet/book of these stamps. I just have to know for myself.

This thread is useless without Smell-O-Vision.

The img tag would be nice too, if only so I could post this.

Thanks for the update. Seems to me Matt should enable the original poster to add a correction to the original thread in a case like this. (Or, of course, do it himself.)

Yeah, I was torn between a blue and a gray post. Matt thought it was more appropriate for MeTa, so here we are.

I call for a bannanation. That may just be because I am totally in the mood for Chinese food now and I know that I am having leftover pot roast for dinner. So I pretty much hate the world right now.

Well I did have teriyaki flavored pork tenderloin for lunch, and my buddies and I are going out to the Chinese buffet Wednesday night, so perhaps I should just eat my leftover pot roast and be happy about it. It did have a good flavor to it, it could have used another onion though.

This post is definitely more appropriate for MeTa. My point was that a correction should be appended to the original post as well. Otherwise, anyone happening on it will be misled.

Also, I'm having homemade pizza for dinner, which is Italian in origin; there's no decent Chinese food around here. [NOT RACIST]

TRY THE INDECENT CHINESE FOOD! IT'S RACY!

I am having a very racist salad for dinner. With racist dressing and NOT RACIST beans. Although Chinese food would definitely be preferable.

No leftover pot roast for me! I got home and started playing playstation and my wife made these little pizza roll-up things where you take a crescent roll and fill it with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. They are good. The first time she made them I said "These are good. They taste like hot pockets" and she was actually insulted, but I consider "They taste like hot pockets" to be firmly in the compliment category. Now every time she makes them she goes "How were they? Did they taste like hot pockets?" and I say "Yes they did and they were delicious". Marriage is complicated. [Somewhat sexist]

You're married?
With the "playstation" and the "taste like hot pockets",
I got the impression you were somewhat younger than the age of consent.
Now I KNOW 40 is the new 20.
(and I'm 44!)...

I feel guilty for clicking into this thread expecting the poster to be fending off villagers' pitchforks and [NOT RACIST] torches. Which is not what has happened at all. Which, in the end, probably makes me happier.

Is it anti-semetic to have a pork flavored stamp?

You know who else liked using the [NOT RACIST] tag?
