Since launching AdSense on PVRBlog, Haughey has even opted to run AdSense ads on Metafilter, a much larger community blog site he began in 1999.

It's mathowie monitoring day at MetaTalk, apparently. It's a matter of time before someone posts a link to a photo of Haughey outside that giant hole that ate a truck yesterday in Portland, a la tourist-of-death.

Yeah, I did an interview with a Google PR person in summer of 2004. It's been there for years now in that little article.

It's supposed to be discuss-nothing-but-meetups day, but these yahoos are screwing it all up.

I'm waiting to hear Matt's take on the H-bombing of Portland.

Funny, here (and I think everywhere in Latin America) today is the equivalent of April Fool's Day.

Oh, crap! Thanks for reminding me. I'm all out of mathowie and I need to go pick up some more before the store closes.

Someday you will drive your mathowie to the mathowie to pick up some more mathowie.

Weight: 5000
Food Value: 1000
Base Value: 20000 shekels

A Mathowie is the kind of thing you can lick:
effect on subject: mood +1 "That tastes ... weird."

A Mathowie is the kind of thing you can scratch:
effect on subject: mood -1 "Smells like teen spirit."

A Mathowie is an ingredient used in making the following: metafilter

It was Matt's post years ago about how well Adsense was working for him on PVRBlog that made me add them to one of my sites. It's paying for my rather lavish trip to Ireland and England next year. Thanks Matt!!!!

Dammit, they didn't archive the "meatball dumpling" article. I really needed to know what their base value is.

Just as it begins to smell better, the neighbours complain and call the police.

H-bombing Portland (aka Little Beirut) is so passe. Now they're dropping nothing but F-bombs.

I once played a game that allowed me to have a mathowie in my pack. But I accidentally ate him.

You needn't†.

You now, if that PVRBlog thing works out for this Haughey fellow, he should look into doing something bigger. Maybe some sort of collaborative weblog sort of thing. I bet that could pull in... oh, 40 or 50 thousand users. Think of the money he'd make.

In other ad sense news, AdSense dumps Casey Serin.

Hmm, just out of curiosity, why is that an https link? Is google worried about someone snooping their PR over the wire?
