I'm in. Are we talking about the Bricklayer's Arms near Tottenham Court Road? If so, isn't that place rather tiny?

It is pretty tiny. I was just there at 8:00 tonight (Wednesday) and it was packed. And smokey.
And the facade appears to be shackled in scaffolding for what I presume is a facelift.
Still, we could meet there and decide on another place if it's too cramped.
There are loads of other bars/pubs in that area as well.

I think the Bricklayers was agreed upon because; a) it's a Sam Smiths boozer and therefore cheap, b) it's pretty central, and c) everyone had a good time there at the last meet-up.

Changing venues now, after the Bricklayers was decided upon in the original thread, would be a bit daft, and moving elsewhere on the night would be bad for latecomers (i.e, me).

Christ, I knew there was too much consensus in that original thread!

Additionally, loitering upstairs in the lounge of the Bricklayers for about 20 minutes is usually rewarded by getting a nice big table.

I only just realised that this happens to be the same day as the launch of the Wii, which is rather distressing, but I guess there's all of the weekend to play it...

I get off work at 7, and since I work next door, that would be best for me. I could dawdle in the office longer if need be.
