It appears to be Allens (or Danforth?) at 8 or 9:00. Dora Keogh next door looks fun to me too.

A. I might need to call someone for directions, as I'm a way-out-of-towner.
B. I don't snore, I'm a "gentleman," and I could maybe use a couch to crash on Saturday night.

Saturday, yes? I'm fairly sure I'll be there this time, barring any unforeseen disasters, although I'm off the jameson and water at the minute.

Allen's and Dora Keogh (which are owned by the same people but quite different atmospheres) are both very near Broadview TTC station. Depending on where you're coming from that may be a good choice for getting there.

I'm not going, since I live in Southern California, but I just want to vouch for Shane. He slept on my couch back in 2003, and only once during the night did I have to physically restrain him as he attempt to bugger me in my sleep. He was very polite about the whole thing, and when I made my position on the issue clear, what could have been an awkward situation was made much more bearable as he had absolutely no qualms about going back out the living room and sleeping the rest of the night soundly.

So, in summary: A+++ would allow to sleep on couch any time.

It'd probably help attendance a little if you could confirm the actual date and time and place. Friday or Saturday at 8 or 9 at Allen's or Dora Keogh is a few too many options.

I'll be at the Horseshoe for the Sadies CD release regardless, but if it's early enough, I might be able to stop by for a bit.

Or water. There was a table full of people drinking water at the sole meetup I went to. I felt a bit awkward to keep rushing to the bar. Then everyone went home at 10.30.

I've got dinner plans with a friend tomorrow night and after that we're going to drop in on a neighbour of hers who's having some friends over. So... it doesn't look like I can go, unless I come away early or something. That's not likely though.
