Philadelphia meetup

Is anyone up for another Philadelphia meetup? I was thinking maybe the weekend of the 16th of September. Any suggestions for a place? My suggestions are always lame, so I will refrain from posting them right away.

I just moved to the Philly area, so I'd definitely be up for a metafilter gathering. Obviously, I can't suggest a place, though...

Sure! I'm totally unavailable on weekends, though. Any mid-week evening ideas? Cheap/free would be nice, too.

(I'm not ashamed to admit that I wanna ride the new carousel and play mini-golf at Franklin Square.) Maybe a picnic, too?

Ooooh! I'm definitely intrigued by mini golf and general cavorting at Franklin Square.

dmd and I will try to be there. Weekday evening/weekend are both okay, but there may be busy wedding madness that comes up.

WOOOOOO! Mini-golf!

Here's the deal:
The place closes at 9pm and it's 8$ a round for adults for mini golf. Is that okay for people? It's not TOO expensive, but still.

Here are some dates I'm throwing out: September 14th or 15th or 18th or 19th. Say...7pm? That should be late enough that everyone's out of work and so forth.

What do you think?

Personally, I'll be attending this event stag, as my SO just looks at me quizzically when I reference the peoples I talks to on the internets.

I have an irrational disapproval for Monday/Tuesday night cavorting, so my vote is for the 14th. I'll come regardless, I'm just sayin'.

Oh, crap. I can't make it on the 14th -- I'll be on vacation.

What about the 7th? Or the 21st? Or keeping miagaille distracted from what day of the week it is and scheduling for 18th or 19th?

I'm up. Let's just say the 18th at 7 p.m.

Sarah, you proposed the meetup and are official photographer; I propose that you also get "Philly MeFi" sign duty. (Because I'll already be on the carousel when you all get there.)

Thanks for the pictures -- I don't have any (good) recent ones of me, but I'm tall, with short reddish-plum hair and if it's chilly, I'll be wearing an olive green hoodie :)

I unfortunately will not be able to make the Monday night meetup. Anyone considering attending should do so - from past experiences, I can attest that this will be a fun time! Have fun all, and see you at the next meetup!
