Vancouver meetup

Vancouver: Anyone interested in a get together and maybe a little drinky drinky? I'll be in Vancouver BC next week (August 14-17) and know next to nothing about the city, so I'll need to help organizing.

I'm in. What do you feel like doing? I'd suggest the Irish Heather or the Black Frog, or, if you're feeling more rowdy, the Railway.

Black frog is one of my semi-regular hangouts, so that's cool with me. Irish Heather's pretty nice too.

Hey, if anyone is interested, I'm checking out the Useless Toy Boat Contest on Tuesday, the 15th. It's at 3:00 in Emery Barnes park.

I'd lean towards the Black Frog, myself. If it's a nice day on the 15th, then there'll be very little room at the Heather. Also, the BF's got a nice loungy place in it.
I don't know if others have seen this thread, but I'll email porpoise and see if he's coming too.

I can't make it to this meetup, but are any Vancouverites interested in going to the Snakes on a Plane premiere? I am organizing a big group of people that are going to the last show of the night on Friday Aug. 18 at the Paramount Vancouver.
