Flag Reasons August 3, 2006 4:16 PM   Subscribe

this has been mentioned before, but.. i am sometimes hamfisted, and was trying to flag a post as fantastic and instead submitted a "pick a reason:" flag. all of the discussion in the previous thread was about superseding flags - but is it a lot of work to make the site simply reject the pick-a-reasons?

I decided to make it easier on people by just accepting the unchecked flag and recording it as nothing. Just reflag it as fantastic to wipe out the old one.

I was also under the impression that you couldn't reflag something (I even posted to MeTa about it, and I thought it was left unfixed).

Eideteker is right. Or my browser's being buggy. Or all of this is a hallucination and I'm being bedeviled by my subconscious for some reason that will come clear in Act III.

I'm a big believer in helpful, contextual error messages.
