Reminder: There is just one week (give or take 12 hours) to sign up for the latest go of the MeFiSwap. The more the merrier, and right now participation numbers are kind of low, perhaps because the announcement scrolled off of MeTa in less than 36 hours, so if you were wondering if it's on, yes, it's on! Get in while you can.

It's actually happening.

And thanks, rollbiz, the fried equipment is home and in fine functioning order now, which is why I was able to post the reminder with confidence.

Entirely missed the first time around, thanks for the reminder. Am signing up. Have the bad fortune of living in a place with spotty mail delivery, so if the CDs don't arrive I'll probably have to blame the evil local postal service rather than flaky MeFites. Ah well: You pays your money, you takes your chances.

I just signed up, and because I made up 8 mix CD's for my wedding two weeks ago, my lucky swap set will get two CD's each.

I'm in, as long as people don't mind mailing CDs to a Kenyan PO box or an APO address.

Would it be OK to have mine sent via a third party? Shipping to an APO address is about the same cost as shipping across the US.

Davehat, you can have your CDs sent to anywhere or anyone. The swap is international, so your mixes could ostensibly go to a Kenyan PO box, but anything that you arrange that you feel is reliable is fine fine, be that a third person relay or an APO address or whatever.
