Most MetaTalk Posts In One Day? June 20, 2006 4:12 PM Subscribe
What's the record for most metatalk posts in a day? Have we approached, or even broken that record today?
most deleted meta posts in a day was probably april 17, 2003.

(btw shmegegge, from where i am, it has been already June 21 for 2.5 hours [both this post and the one below are already in Tuesday's queue] ...so your question is inherently flawed.)

not necessarily. I'd imagine that we would simply go by whatever timezone is most appropriate for squeezing the most meta posts in on a per post basis. example:
today, in EST there are 15 meta posts (i made that figure up). today, in other timezones there are LESS than 15. so today we count the number of meta posts according to EST.
a year ago, let's say in EST there were 14 meta posts, but in some other timezone, let's say GMT, there were 16. for that day, we would count by the number in GMT, because it's larger. that way, we're comparing MeTa at its fullest.

Most deleted meta comments in a day was probably January 4th.
If I remember correctly there were two seperate threads of about 800 posts that were deleted, possibly a third.

Where is Reynolds these days, anyway? Or is answering that question a key to a Pandora's box?

Ceiling cat would, um, watch Runway Bunny masturbate from a hole in the ... uh .. ceiling above the runway?

reynolds is, as I understand it, spending his days carefree and flameless in metachat.

Mathowie banned him. Probably for the best, because he's a really pleasant guy in MetaChat, but the color scheme in MetaTalk seems to have rubbed him wrong.

Oh wow. I'd completely forgotten Miguel's constnat efforts to poll the je-ne-sais-quoi of the je-ne-sais-quoi of MetaFilter. He always seemed to be reaching for material to write about elsehwere. It seemed like an insane idea to me then...

No no no, matteo. You present it as two old Jewish women eating together. And the one says, "the food here is terrible! Just awful!"
And the other says, "yes, and such small portions!"

do you think he'd be able to keep from giving himself away if he were? I'd imagine that just ONE of the dios threads from a week or two ago would have outed him immediately.

"outed"? That's a perfect example of the kind of in-bred, mouthbreeding homophobic bullshit that made me leave in the first—
Oh shit.
