Foot Feet and Fitting

I'd like to recommend that this highly detailed reponse about feet and shoe fitting by paulsc to my askMeFi question be highlight on the front page side bar.

If you flag the post as fantastic (the exclamation mark next to the answer), and if enough people do the same, then Matt will decide whether to put it on the sidebar or not (with the aid of a coin, perhaps).
I'm don't know if making noise in MeTa will help, but good luck to you and your wife's feet.

MetaFilter would get a bit crowded if we started voting on every possible sidebar-worthy comment - flagging, or maybe mailing an admin, seems the best bet.

Good solid answer that, though.

I'd rather debate sidebar-worthiness than another horrible round of "Muh muh muh politicfilter muh muh muh". Paulsc's answer was pretty darn good, anyhow.

Paulsc is always on a roll. He's my favorite AskMe poster. (Grumblebee is a close second.) Awesome detailed, thoughtful responses on a wide range of subjects, well-written, and never snarky.
