I'm with mr.marx. Only wish it'd been sooner.

Yeah, I finally did it. You get five logins in a 24hr period then you can get it emailed to you, and that's it.

Munchkins: Ding Dong! The Witch is dead.
Which old Witch? The Wicked Witch!
Ding Dong! The Wicked Witch is dead.
Wake up - sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed.
Wake up, the Wicked Witch is dead. She's gone where the goblins go,
Below - below - below. Yo-ho, let's open up and sing and ring the bells out.
Ding Dong' the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low.
Let them know - the Wicked Witch is dead!

Mayor: As Mayor of the Munchkin City, In the County of the Land of Oz, I welcome you most regally.

Barrister: But we've got to verify it legally, to see

Mayor: To see?

Barrister: If she

Mayor: If she?

Barrister: Is morally, ethically

Father 1: Spiritually, physically

Father 2: Positively, absolutely

Munchkins: Undeniably and reliably Dead

Coroner: As Coroner I must aver, I thoroughly examined her.
And she's not only merely dead, she's really most sincerely dead.

Mayor: Then this is a day of Independence For all the Munchkins and their descendants.

Barrister: If any.

Mayor: Yes, let the joyous news be spread. The wicked Old Witch at last is dead!

er, so wait, it's based on username now? (And why not do what gmail does, 5 tries and then you get the captcha).

Anyway, an attacker could (I think) run through a list of names 4 times a day looking for those with weak passwords.

Huzzah! Now I can post from my Blackberry!

Which I am doing right now, BTW. Whee!

Remember the time someone called Captcha a Drama Queen, and he went apeshit in MetaTalk? Good times.

Am I dense? 5 logins and then you have to have permission to log in again or 5 failed logins and then you get emailed that your acct is unlocked? Sorry. Beer.

The error you receive after 5 unsuccessful attempts implies that you can't try again for 24 hours, and offers a button to have your password e-mailed to you. However, if you go to the front page and follow the login link, supplying the correct password, you get in with no problems.

Yes, I just tried this. Is it a bad sign that I started to get scared when I thought I might not be able to log in to MeFi for 24 hours?
