Ahhh, yes. It's like Jules et Jim meets Germany Year Zero. You're going to have to change your name to DaRosselini. :-)
Thanks to you both for the photo documentation, and again to everyone for the good time.

I don't remember everyone's usernames; nor do I know the etiquette on outing other members. I'll just say I'm the guy on the left, and this is my non-mefite +1. The rest of the identification is left as an exercise for the reader.

You know, it would have been a lot more subtle to simply leave the "name" part blank (like you did for the other pages). Instead it's a bunch of photos with no usernames, then "THIS PERSON DOES NOT WISH TO BE IDENTIFIED." Or was that meant as a not-so-subtle message to anyone who attended the meetup not to name names in this thread?

Since you can also add comments beneath the photos, I think it was a nice way for DaShiv to remind people not to add names to the photos.

This is me. The non-Irish Irishman, as Dunwitty can attest to.

Isn't it normally an exercise for the poster? It would be really nice if we could see who people are (except, obviously, for the Top Secret crew), like we do with all the other meetups.

Oh, I meant to ask: kenko, what is the "Impressive" in reference to? The Guinness? If so, I totally agree.

Oh come on, you know that chin-slinky is pretty damn formidable. I for one am jealous; I can't grow anything myself, got the damn facial hair of a 12-year-old.

languagehat, I think the issue is, if we start identifying everyone but the person who does not want to be identified, then there's a pretty quick process-of-elimination that happens.
I think 80% of the people who were there have been to previous meetups and have been identified at them; the rest will probably show up at future meetups and may be identified that way at some point. We had a good time, we're sharing photos of that good time, and... that's pretty much it. It's the internet, do y'all really need to know what we look like to continue interacting with us? :-)

I was a bit low on time when I was posting that earlier, so I didn't labeling all the names (but I was trying to be considerate to the person who specifically asked me not to be identified). I was hoping maybe some people would go ahead and label themselves in the comments. In any case, I can go back and label the photos if there's still interest here, or someone who was there can do it via comments if they'd like to.
Yeah, I know I'd been slacking off with this set here.

Ha! Don't feel too bad, donpedro. Notice how I'm sporting the Amish look? That's because I can't grow a mustache to save my life.

Sorry I missed this post. I was away for the weekend. I'm sure I would have had something funny to say, otherwise.
I'm the fat guy with the shaved head.

Oh, and some egg-throwin' guys.
<clerks>I'm not even supposed to be here today!</clerks> I caught a late afternoon flight just in time to make it to this meetup fashionably late. Coming from LA, I had neither the time nor the inclination to unpack my five cameras, movie rig lighting set, traveling stand-in extras, and the makeup people, so instead of the usual fancy stuff, these photos were done with the little point-and-shoot I had in my jacket. In the same spirit, I've only white balanced and resized these photos before uploading -- no straightening, cropping, or even sharpening, so they're just your standard snapshots. occhiblu was accusing me of acting like an auteur at one point during the night, so this must be my photographic version of cinéma vérité.
Or maybe I'm just feeling lazy for a change.
(P.S. Help me add some names/captions, thanks.)
