We can click birthdays in user profiles to find MeFites who share the same birthday, and we can click locations to find other MeFites who are geographically close. How about a clickable join-date to find MeFites who joined on the same day (+/- N yrs)? It would be like a pony crossed from the old-timers thread and bondcliff's birthday pony! [more inside]

Although favourites are certainly a nice feature for a lot of things, I worry that there's a tendency for them to water down more nuanced discussions. As a way to preempt this, perhaps people who make posts could have the option to disallow favouriting of comments on that post? [more inside]

Pretty sure in the last 7 days, 30 days, all time was a great breakdown 5 years ago, but now, maybe last quarter, biannual, 12 months, biennial, lustrum would give us a better range to surf through. (I'm sure the community would come up with better words than I did.) Currently the gap between 30 days & all time whisks a lot of quite recent but not in the last month very nice stuff under the cyber rug. I would also like to see it applied to the categories (in Ask me). For example, there are 7202 posts to Questions in the Clothing, Beauty, & Fashion category. But how to find the most loved?

A small pony request: we have the edit button for comments we make on AskMefi, would it be possible to add an edit capability to Memail messages? 'Cause sometimes, my fat fingers don't go where I want them to go....

An automated reminder or some way to export the meetup item to iCal/gCal would be helpful. I've actually forgotten about two recent meetups (sorry, all), and am thinking that some form of reminder would be helpful for these kinds of things. All opt-in, of course; wouldn't want anyone being hit w/ spam. Thanks!

Last week I was going to make an FPP and got the "too soon!" message. I see this often because I tend to post in bursts, so I look up the last posting time and do some mental math. Since the form knows I've already posted in the last 24 hours, would it be possible to just have it tell me at what time I can make the next post? On attempted posting preview: I was notified that I had posted a MeTa within the last seven days so this had to wait, too. Maybe this pony could ride across the whole site.
